The Beginnings of TheCalling

The name “TheCalling” was inspired by a dream that Alex Band had one night, where he heard a voice calling out to him to start a band with that name. From there, TheCalling came into existence and began their journey into the music industry. The band began performing local shows in LA and quickly gained a following. In 2001, they released their debut album, “Camino Palmero,” which featured the hit single, “Wherever You Will Go.” The song became an instant hit and reached number 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
