Introduction:

This is a teaching plan for a middle school English class. The focus of the class will be on improving the students' speaking and listening skills. They will be asked to use each word in a sentence, and then practice saying the sentences aloud. Each group will then present their sentences and demonstrate how they used the assigned vocabulary words. The entire class will then be encouraged to ask questions and engage in a conversation using the new vocabulary words.

Listening Practice:

After the vocabulary building segment, students will engage in a listening comprehension exercise. The teacher will read a story aloud, and students will be asked to take notes while listening. Students will then be asked to summarize the story in their own words.

The goal is to practice speaking, listening, and teamwork, while also building up confidence in front of a group. Each group will then present a summary of their discussion to the rest of the class.
