Warm-up (10 minutes)

Title: Family Tree

Materials: Pictures of family members, flashcards with possessive pronouns, whiteboard, markers

- Show pictures of family members and ask students to name them. Write the names on the whiteboard.

- Introduce possessive pronouns using flashcards. Model sentences such as \"This is my father. His name is John.\"

- Have students practice saying the sentences with different family members.

- Divide the class into pairs and ask them to take turns introducing their family members to each other using the possessive pronouns.

Main Activity (20 minutes)

Title: Family Interview

Materials: Worksheet with interview questions, colored pencils, markers

- Distribute the worksheet to each student. The worksheet should contain questions about their family members, such as \"Do you have any brothers or sisters?\" and \"What do your parents do?\".

- Instruct students to walk around the classroom and ask their classmates the questions. They should write down their classmates' answers on the worksheet.

- After the interview, have students share interesting information about their classmates' families with the whole class.

Closure (10 minutes)

Title: My Family Album

Materials: Construction paper, magazines, scissors, glue

- Ask students to bring pictures of their family members from home or provide them with magazines to cut out pictures.

- Give each student a piece of construction paper and have them create a family album by gluing the pictures onto the paper.

- Encourage students to write the names of their family members under each picture using possessive pronouns.

- Allow students to share their family albums with the class, describing their family members using English sentences.

Extension Activity:

- Have students create a short skit or role-play about their family. They can use the sentences and possessive pronouns learned in the lesson to introduce each family member.
